With a new year is expected many changes, not only in ourselves but in the things we enjoy. With the loss of some, and the gain of others, the new year looks promising with the amazing content it will give us.
As we all were dreading, the Produce 101 group Wanna One disbanded on December 31, 2018, after a year and a half with Wannables, but not before a final vlive stream. Don’t worry, though. Minhyun will be going back to Nu’est who has been promoting as Nu’est W since he’s been gone. Daehwi and Woojin may be joining Youngmin and Donghun for Brand New Music’s anticipated boy group.
The new year also began with some big news involving two popular idols. The well known Korean site, Dispatch, released pictures this new years of Blackpink’s Jennie and EXO’s Kai on a date back in late November. SM Entertainment, the popular label that Kai is under, has confirmed this to be true. So far people seem to be supportive of the new couple, which is a stark contrast to kfans’ reactions during the Hyuna and E’dawn dating scandal last year.
We’re all excited to see what happens this year in kpop!
